Client is an All-Hazards Emergency Manegement firm specializing in Disaster Response. Based out of Florida, with the ability to respond to disaster activations in all 50 States and Puerto Rico. The firm takes a holistic approach to incident management and is rooted at it's core in common sense solutions to complex disaster needs. Founded by a former first responder, this lean and agile leadership team leverages decades of experience in the public safety sector to support a wide range of disaster services including Response Logistics, Mass Feeding, Debris Operations, and Emergency Management Consulting.



Role Description


This is a full-time remote role for a Chief of Staff at Client. The Chief of Staff will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing projects, coordinating communication between departments, and supporting the CEO in strategic decision-making.



Qualifications

• Leadership, Strategic Planning, and Decision-Making skills
• Project Management and Communication skills
• Problem-Solving and Analytical skills
• Experience in organizational development and team management
• Budgeting and Financial Management skills are preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Experience in disaster response or emergency management is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or Emergency Management preferred but not required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in emergency services, disaster response, or related field.
• Must be willing to work at a disaster site or Emergency Operations Center during disaster events if needed. Work assignments could be between 5-14 days.
• Mission and "TEAM FIRST" focus is a requirement of the job.
