This is aFull-Time position at CRISTA Media in Shoreline, WA. 
Compensation: $22.50 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience

POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Supervisor I is responsible for editing and producing radio station commercial spots and station promo production, and podcasts as assigned by the Production Director.  Maintain high technical and creative standards in all work and take initiative to drive projects forward while also learning more advanced production skills, such as: conceptualizing, writing, and bringing raw ideas into a coherent script.  Will serve as a backup traffic reporter in afternoon drive and track weekend air shift. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES

• Write, edit, produce and voice radio commercials for station clients as needed.
• Carry a regular, weekend, on-air show (pre-recorded) and train to serve in a fill-in capacity for other air talent.
• Record and produce station imaging and other audio projects as needed.
• Serve as board-op during station remotes and fundraisers.
• Assist with podcast production for Purposely. 
• Perform other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

CHRIST CENTERED 

• Belief that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior.
• Is a committed Christian who is dedicated to continued spiritual growth and development as evidenced through a growing personal walk with God (e.g. daily spiritual rhythms of prayer, fellowship, Bible study, etc).
• Prayerfully seeks God’s will in their own lives and in their ministry at CRISTA.
• Engages our ministry including staff and colleagues through prayer, participation in spiritual practices, leading devotionals and other spiritual practices.
• Affirms, aligns with and supports CRISTA’s Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Statement (CCC).
• Conducts themselves in a manner which reflects well on CRISTA Ministries and aligns with its mission, vision, Statement of Faith and Christian Community Representative Commitment (CCC). 
• Demonstrates the values of a CRISTA leader.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent. 

EXPERIENCE 

• One to three years of experience working in a Production role in a commercial radio environment.
• Basic audio/video editing of podcasts.

SOFTWARE / EQUIPMENT KNOWLEDGE

• Radio automation software
• Adobe Audition production systems
• Adobe Premiere

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS

• Commitment to spiritual growth and development.
• Individual must have denominational knowledge and respect for other denominations so as to be able to convey an inclusive presentation on air and in person.
• Currently participating in a church in some capacity. 
• Creative in various ways of spot production and be a master at Adobe Audition systems.
• Able to communicate clearly and work well with a variety of personality types.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications or related field from an accredited college or university recognized by the United States Department of Education or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE 

• Four years of experience working in a Production role in a commercial radio environment.
